Here is the stage as it currently looks, a little sad and lonely. Since this picture was taken, the mats that you see peeking through the curtain have been stored elsewhere. Other than that, it remains in this state.
It's a great stage with access to backstage areas on both sides, a cool curtain, and a fab sound system. It just needs a little sprucing up. And lights.
The lights we are looking into. As to the rest of it, we hope to repaint the stage itself, and its background wall, in a deep black.
After that, we can paint murals around it, creating a frame for performances that take place on it, honoring their importance.
