The CPort 2013 Art Show was a rousing success!!!
For the first time, it was held in the gym, which provided us with a nice, clean canvas to work with. Large boards were purchased at Home Depot, covered with felt, and used to mount about 50% of the artwork. The boards were then hung by hooks on eyes that had been installed in the walls (thanks, Alex van Praagh!)
For the middle of the room, we used folding screens, stacked cardboard boxes, and the volleyball net (a great suggestion from Mr. F.)
Our intrepid leader was Felicity Lufkin, whose keen eye and indomitable spirit left us with an Art Show for the ages. Not to mention, the blueprint and infrastructure for future art shows.
We can't wait for 2014's!
